Commissioning Scripts
How to Commission the Writing of an Original Play
E-mail your specifications to Wild Grace. We will answer your e-mail promptly to let you know if we can take your project at this time. We may:
- offer to prepare a "proposal package" for an original script,
- offer other script options and ideas or,
- ask you for a little more information to help us know what to do.
Our answer to your e-mail will let you know if or when you will be receiving a proposal which includes the details you need to make your decision about commissioning a script. This communication will include specifics about the deadlines and the proposed cost.
- When the play may be of general interest and requires no special research, you may commission your script on-line, and you will not be billed until you receive the hard copies of the script by mail, giving you the option to return the script at that time. (You will not have the option to make copies of it, however.)
- When the play is specific for your own situation, such as an historical play, or a salute to a member, we may ask you for a contractual agreement regarding rewrites, and approval.
